Introducing... the speakeasy siren, Alicia Michelle and smokin' saxophonist, Rick Thomas! We've each been playing music for years and fate has brought us together to make something special. We call ourselves: 'the Nightcap'! We think it fits our style to a 'T'.

 

The meat and potatoes of our song list consists of timeless jazz standards plus other feel-good hits that we all know and love from decades past up to today. These carefully curated tunes create a set list that is cohesive and easy to listen to. We mostly stay in the jazz/blues/soul vein but we occasionally throw in a well-known country or pop song and 'jazz it up'. We have a thing for lounge-y songs and anything that sets the mood for lovin', although we both are known to 'growl' a little. You'll be swooning and reminiscing all night long.

 

Our passion is breathing new life into these tunes and presenting them to you as if you were taken back in time to a prohibition-era speakeasy. Expect all the glamor and nostalgia of old Hollywood with a modern edge. This is what we portray on stage with our unique attire and sound. Stage presence and authentic expression are very important to us so if you are seeking entertainment to help create this type of ambience and move you, we definitely fit the bill.
